Winter Retreat Speaker Spotlight – Dr. Kim Ledermann DDS, MS
Specialist in Orofacial Pain, University of Minnesota School of Dentistry Grad with an M.S. in speech language pathology
Dr. Ledermann is the owner of the Minnesota Craniofacial Center for TMJ & Sleep Treatment. Her office specializes in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of adults and children who have temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD) and craniofacial/orofacial pain conditions, and the treatment of sleep related breathing disorders including snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.
Dr. Ledermann graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2002. She has a broad-based background in general dentistry performed in both private and nonprofit clinics, which has included seeing patients under general anesthesia in a hospital setting. Additionally, she has a master’s degree in speech-language pathology and is experienced in the treatment of oropharyngeal dysfunction.
We are thrilled to have Dr. Ledermann speak at the BioRESEARCH Winter Retreat and Conference this coming January 19-21st 2023. Her lecture- PRF (platelet rich fibrin), prolotherapy, regenerative injections, and TMJ- will discuss the process, procedures, and indications for regenerative injections in the temporomandibular joints, including platelet-rich fibrin and prolotherapy. Dr. Ledermann’s lecture will provide an overview of the equipment and training needed, suggested protocols and when to use them.
